At the Center for Transformational Presence, we have always taken your privacy quite seriously. In order to make our policies even clearer and to be in compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we have updated our Privacy Policy statement to make it clear what we do with your personal data and what your rights are. Our privacy policy statement applies to the processing of personal data of (potential) participants in our programs, visitors to our websites, and recipients of our electronic newsletters.

Your personal data

We process your personal data for a number of purposes:

  • To respond to your questions and comments
  • To register you for a program and to send you information related to this program afterwards
  • For sending requested information and books that you purchase from us
  • For analyzing and improving the services of our organization

The personal date we collect from you includes:

  • Your name and contact details as you have provided them to us
  • Images of you when we record a Zoom session
  • Technical data from website visitors

Your rights

  • You are entitled to inspect your personal data and you can ask us to correct or delete your personal data.
  • In certain cases, you may object to the processing of your personal data.
  • You may submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Full Privacy Policy

This document states the privacy policy of the Center for Transformational Presence, established in Topsfield, Massachusetts, USA (hereafter called: “the Center for Transformational Presence”). The Center for Transformational Presence is convinced that the protection of personal data is essential for its activities. We therefore wish to provide you with clear and transparent information on how we collect and process personal data, as well as on the manner of protection and the purposes for which this personal data is used.

We may use Personal Information to personalize and improve the services of the Center for Transformational Presence, to administer and improve our website, to contact users, to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, and as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy. We employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and may need to share your Personal Information with them to provide services to you, for example, for web hosting and processing credit card payments. Unless we tell you differently, our agents do not have any right to use the Personal Information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us.

  1. USE OF PERSONAL DATA
    1. The Center for Transformational Presence (possibly) uses personal data, if you:
      1. use our website and/or watch the videos on our website;
      2. contact us via the contact form on our website;
      3. request more detailed information about the offerings of the Center for Transformational Presence;
      4. register for an event, program, workshop, course, training, Zoom meeting, and/or coaching session offered by the Seale Foundation (hereafter called ‘a program’);
      5. make a purchase via the store of the Center for Transformational Presence;
      6. are registered as member of the Transformational Presence Community by graduating from the TPLC or TPLA workshop;
      7. subscribe to potentially receive information from the Center for Transformational Presence;
      8. are in a photo or video from an event/program/training that we put on our website, and/or use in online programs, and/or use in a newsletter of the Center for Transformational Presence.
    2. The Center for Transformational Presence collects the following personal data:
      1. name, address, email address;
      2. in case of registering for an program: phone number, date of birth, gender, billing address, bank account number (of you or the organization that is paying), and the program you have registered for and if necessary also the further arrangement made between you and the Center for Transformational Presence;
      3. in case of a purchase: the delivery address;
      4. whenever you interact with any page on our website or watch the videos/Zoom recording, we automatically receive and record information in our server logs from your browser including your IP address, “cookie” information, and the page you requested;
      5. footage of you, recorded during a program;
      6. information for detailed analytics to help us know how to improve our website, an existing video, our services, and/or to identify what content to offer in the future.
    3. The Center for Transformational Presence may use the information we collect from you in the following ways:
      1. to contact you concerning relevant information, for instance regarding a (new) program, an upcoming masterclass, sending of the presentation sheets in relationship to a program you have followed, a request from a community member to contact you;
      2. to distribute photos /videos among the members of the TP community;
      3. to facilitate the purchase of orders with the Center for Transformational Presence (including sending orders that have been purchased);
      4. to send a Zoom link for participation in an online program for which you registered via the Center for Transformational Presence;
      5. to draw up a list of participants for the program for which you have registered;
      6. to record people’s choices and our interactions with them, and use it to customize how we will interact with them in the future (for instance not sending you information about a service you have already bought);
      7. to send newsletters;
      8. viewer-based tracking in order for us to monitor which videos (alone or in combination) are attractive to the customers of our services;
      9. to send a survey concerning the program in which you have participated, as well as concerning topics that are important to allow us to better service the Center for Transformational Presence;
      10. to execute authorizations or carry out bank write-offs or payments, or to carry out financial administration;
      11. to administer and improve our website.
    4. All information provided by you, whether electronic, oral or written, will be treated confidentially by the Center for Transformational Presence.
    5. We agree to the following rules for commercial emails and messages:
      1. we do not use false or misleading subjects or email addresses;
      2. we are open about the physical address of our business;
      3. we monitor third-party email marketing services, if any are used, for compliance;
      4. we honor unsubscribe requests quickly (for instance for newsletters), using a link at the bottom of emails.
    6. You can always opt not to disclose information to us, and/or have the personal information we have collected from you changed or removed via a request by email to privacy@transformationalpresence.org). Please keep in mind some information may be needed to register with us or to take advantage of some of our special features.
    7. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, you can email us at
      privacy@transformationalpresence.org, and within 30 days we will remove you from ALL correspondence.
  2. INFORMATION AND COMPLAINTS

  3. PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND COOKIES
    1. The Center for Transformational Presence will collect and use your personal data only for the objectives stated in this privacy statement and won’t store it any longer than necessary.
    2. The Center for Transformational Presence will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure your personal data. This data may only be accessed by a limited number of persons who have been given specific rights to consult the systems and use the personal data. They are obliged to keep the personal data confidential.
    3. All purchases are secure. If you use your credit card for payment, your credit card information is encrypted when you place your order so that your information is secure, and then stored on servers that are secured especially for this purpose. Your information can only be accessed by a limited number of trusted people.
    4. The Center for Transformational Presence makes use of cookies when offering services. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on the hard drive of your computer, tablet or phone when you visit the website. A cookie contains data so that you can be recognized as a visitor each time you visit the website. It is then possible to set up the website specifically for you and/or to facilitate your login.     5. We only use first-party Google Analytics cookies to track anonymous usage statistics and do not collect any personal information that can be used to identify you. This helps us analyze data about web page usage and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. Google Analytics stores information about what pages you visit, how long you are on the site, how you got here and what you click on. We do not allow Google to use or share our analytics data.     6. We use Vimeo analytics cookies to collect user behavior data, while viewing videos/Zoom recordings. Some of the behavior tracked is portion of video(s) watched, buttons clicked on the video, IP address/location, and video completion rates.     7. We embed a Facebook comments plugin to allow you to leave comments on our website using your Facebook account. This plugin may collect your IP address and your web browser user agent, store and retrieve cookies in your browser, embed additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with the commenting interface, including correlating your Facebook account with whatever actions you take within the interface (such as “liking” a comment or replying to other comments), if you are logged into Facebook. The Center for Transformational Presence is not responsible for any cookies used once the visitor has left our web sites.
  4. DATA BREACH
    1. In order to be in line with Applicable Legislation and Regulations concerning the Processing of Personal Data and the Fair Information Practices we will notify the appropriate organizations, should a data breach with a risk of serious adverse effects occur. You will be notified by email within 7 business days when there is (suspicion of) a data breach.
    2. A data breach is a security incident in which sensitive, protected or confidential data is copied, transmitted, viewed, stolen or used by an individual unauthorized to do so.
  5. THIRD-PARTY DISCLOSURE
    1. Except as set out in this privacy statement, and in the other paragraphs of this article, the Center for Transformational Presence will not disclose the information we collect to third parties, unless you have given your explicit consent or if the Center for Transformational Presence is obliged to do so under the law or a Court ruling.
    2. The Center for Transformational Presence will provide your name and email address to the trainers and space holders of the programs for which you have registered.
    3. The Center for Transformational Presence will provide your name and email address to the conference center where a program will be organized as necessary to facilitate the reservation of hotel accommodations.
    4. The Center for Transformational Presence will provide your name and email address to the other participants of the programs, and/or committees for which you have registered.
    5. The Center for Transformational Presence will provide your name and address details to the delivery service in order for the items you purchased to be sent to the address you provided.
    6. The third parties mentioned in this article may use the personal data only for the purpose for which they are intended.
    7. With the exception of information about activities from our community members, we do not include or offer third-party products or services on our website.

I am not the flower-power type. I’m down to earth and rational. And I can be emotional. When I first subscribed to the TPLC course [Transformational Presence for Leaders and Coaches] I read Alan’s book Create a World That Worksin preparation. To be honest, I should say that I tried to read it. I just did not understand what Alan was writing about! Although I was very curious about the course, I have to admit that I was also skeptical.

It is only through experiencing Transformational Presence in the way that Alan presents it in this course that I could really get it. The TPLA on Zoom was a fantastic experience. It brought me great clarity about where I am on my path to conscious leadership and where I need to go next. I felt very supported by the community. My path and the choices I am making are now more embodied. And I feel inspired to use this work in the service of others.

This online programme with Alan Seale came at the right moment for me. Over the past few years, I had read a lot of Alan's work, but these sessions brought his teachings to life. This was a whole new level of experiential learning for me. Zoom did not get in the way, quite on the contrary I would say. During the exercises you could choose to turn the camera off. I felt free to experiment with posture, movement. Whatever I needed to get clarity on my chosen topics. It was very private and yet you could feel you were guided and supported by someone who can hold the space for you.

In breakout sessions, we then talked about what had come to our awareness during the exercise, what we learned. Suddenly, there were words for the embodied experience – it was shared and thus reinforced. Amazingly, we never felt compelled to talk about the issue itself, just our discoveries and the process. Wow.

It will take months to compost all that I learned. The course is a gift that will keep giving. I feel privileged. Thank you.
