Happy New Year! As we step into 2019 at the Center for Transformational Presence, we are reminded of the teachings from the ancient sages and the corresponding principles of modern-day physics – that everything is energy in motion, and therefore, everything is in a constant state of change and evolution.
Change is what is normal. In fact, it’s what keeps us growing and moving forward. The key is finding the dynamic balance between change that keeps us growing, and continuity that gives us grounding. It is the continuity that keeps us in touch with who we are and why we’re here.
And so as we enter this New Year, things continue to change and evolve at the Center for Transformational Presence as well. There are several new developments that I would like to share with you as we begin the New Year, as well as affirm what remains constant.
Trace Hobson Steps Out of His Role with the Center
Since the summer of 2016, Trace Hobson has been helping us expand our vision and reach through his role as Chief OAM (Organizational Alchemist and Mystic). I’m particularly grateful to Trace for helping me see a bigger picture of what Transformational Presence can be and what it can bring to the world, and for encouraging me to create a succession plan to support this work in years to come.
As Trace and I consider where he is in his personal and professional journey now and where we are at the Center for Transformational Presence, we recognize that the next right step is for Trace to step out of his role on the administrative team of the Center. He will continue to be a part of our community and a part of our mentored facilitation team as he further develops his own coaching practice and support systems for leaders, organizations, and coaches through his company, iConnectExpansion.
Transformational Presence Expands Its Reach Through the Mentored Facilitation Team
2018 was a very exciting year for the future of Transformational Presence as I mentored four of our graduates to lead our signature programs in partnership with the Center. Jo Boniszewski and Sander van Eekelen from the Netherlands, Joanna Zawada-Kubik from Poland, and Trace Hobson from Canada have been spreading their wings and are now leading Transformational Presence courses – both open-enrollment and in-company programs. Through them, our work is now available in Dutch and Polish as well as in English.
The first reviews from their participants have been fantastic! It brings me great joy to watch them grow and take Transformational Presence further out into the world, each in their own way. They each have their own style and energy, which helps Transformational Presence reach a broader audience. The personal mentoring relationships that have unfolded have been a great gift to me. Congratulations to Jo, Joanna, Sander, and Trace.
This expansion also helps to fulfill one of my legacy visions for the Center – to lift up and support our graduates in making Transformational Presence the centerpiece of their work through their own companies. The new TPLM, designed for a maximum of 8 participants in each intensive mentoring retreat, actually arises out of that vision as well. I’m incredibly excited about the upcoming TPLM programs in Costa Rica in January and in the Netherlands in May.
Transformational Presence Book Now Available in Dutch
My latest book, Transformational Presence: How To Make a Difference In a Rapidly Changing World, is now available in Dutch translation through Heart Media in the Netherlands. The companion workbook, Transformational Presence: The Tools, Skills, and Frameworks is in the translation process now.
In the meantime, the English-language edition of the Tools, Skills, and Frameworks companion book is available for the Netherlands and Europe through Heart Media as well as through the Seale Foundation.
Negotiations are also under way for translations of both books into Polish!
Of course, the English versions of both books are available through amazon.com as well as on our website. (For international orders, we recommend going through amazon.com for less expensive shipping.)
Transitions in My Travel and Teaching Schedule Starting in 2020
I have made a commitment to myself to reduce the intensity of my travel schedule starting in 2020. It is not my intention to stop traveling completely, but definitely to travel less. That said, my schedule for 2019 remains quite full as I continue to create a foundation that can support the ongoing expansion of Transformational Presence in the world.
Part of that foundation is the mentoring I have done in 2018 with Jo, Joanna, Sander, and Trace. The new TPLM is a next step.
It is also my intention to create more virtual learning programs through the Center starting in 2019-2020. Although my full travel schedule doesn’t leave a lot of time for creating these new programs yet, I look forward to taking next steps. Stay tuned for more details as 2019 unfolds.
What Remains Constant
Through these changes, the biggest constant in my life and in our work at the Center is Transformational Presence itself. It is how I live, how I lead and coach, how I teach, and how I serve. I am grateful every day for the gifts of Transformational Presence – for the understanding that it brings about how the world works, and for the guidance it provides for navigating these rapidly changing and uncertain times.
The TPLC, TPLA, Soul Mission * Life Vision, and Manifestation Wheel courses all continue this year with programs scheduled in the Netherlands, Poland, and the United States. I will continue leading many of these programs this year, while Jo, Sander, Joanna, and Trace continue finding their way with this work. See the Calendar page of our website for full details.
The Seale Foundation, created initially by Gabriella van Rooij and Marie Josee Smulders and now led by Gabriella, also remains very active in supporting the work of Transformational Presence, particularly in the Netherlands and Belgium, as well as throughout Europe and the world. We are forever grateful to Gabriella for her tireless commitment and devotion to our community and to this work.
Going forward at the Center, Kim, Wayne (our web-tech genius), and I continue working together to support you. We keep listening to Transformational Presence for what it is asking for and where it wants to go next in its ever-unfolding evolution. Transformational Presence is our leader; we are faithful stewards.
Transformational Presence continues to expand around the world through you. Our work in each new country has happened because one of our graduates asked, “Will you come to my country?” If you are interested in hosting a program in your country or region and have a network of people who would be interested in this work, let’s start a conversation.
Thank you for your presence in our community and the gifts that you bring to the world. While we are living in uncertain and often unsettling times, I am confident that, step by step, we are creating a world that works. It may not always feel like it in the moment, but shifts are happening. Together, we are making a difference. I look forward to our continuing journey together in 2019.
