This week I am away on personal retreat, so it seems this is a perfect time to share some lightness and fun while at the same time celebrating someone who has clearly followed his passion to the great delight of audiences around the world.

A few weeks ago, in my weekly subscription to TED.com, there was a link to Tom Thum’s TEDx Sydney performance in July. Using only a microphone, Thum stretches the possibilities of the human voice far beyond what most of us could imagine. Using only his voice, he creates soundtracks of percussion and melodic instruments from around the world as well as imitates famous performers. He wraps up this TEDx performance by creating a fifties jazz orchestra using just his voice and a sequencer. He is truly a beatbox virtuoso.

I’ve watched this 12-minute video countless times and shared with every friend who has stopped by to visit. Every time it makes me smile. Tom turns the Sydney Opera House into a sultry jazz bar and delights the audience with his astounding performance. I hope you enjoy it.

P.S. Tom Thum clearly followed his passion and turned it into a career. If you want to learn more about how to turn your dreams into reality, how to turn your passion into a career, my third book, The Manifestation Wheel, is a great place to start. Or if you prefer a more interactive experience, you might consider our audio course, “The Manifestation Wheel.” The Manifestation Wheel. The book is also available in bookstores everywhere, on amazon.com, and as a digital book for Kindle, iBooks, or other e-readers.
