One of the most frequent questions I am asked is, “How do you stay present, focused, centered, and grounded when life gets overwhelming?” Whether there are incredible opportunities coming your way or enormous challenges or disappointments, how can you stay fully present and show up as your best self in your life and work? How can you remember that who you are at your essence is bigger than the situations or circumstances around you?

Many of the Transformational Presence tools and frameworks can be helpful in those moments, and certainly being very clear about your soul mission gives you a point of focus and sense of clear purpose.

However, a few weeks ago, one of our graduates shared a brief exercise created by Deepak Chopra in the Transformational Presence Supervised Mentor Coaching class. As I kept working with the exercise on my own in the days following the class, I found it incredibly illuminating and insightful. I discovered more about myself and how I show up in the world, and what it means to live and work from the fullness of who I am.

I have expanded and adapted Chopra’s exercise specifically for Transformational Presence. I share it with you in the 10-minute video below. Perhaps it will offer insights and greater awareness to you as well.
