This week I am in Montana leading the “Transformation in Action” workshop for 24 amazing leaders and transformation agents from western North America. This poem is dedicated to all who are called to stand up and say “yes” to what their world is asking of them.

Stand Tall and Say Yes
by Alan Seale
Stand tall
Stretch to the sky
Find the light
Reach out for all that Life is trying to bring you
Say yes
And then
Say yes again

Feel the breeze
Take in the sun
Drink in the rain
Soak up every experience that comes your way
Say yes
And then
Say yes again

Feel your roots
Connect to the earth
Find your strength
Be who you are here to be – do what you are here to do
Say yes
And then
Say yes again

The tree doesn’t wonder if it’s doing it right
It doesn’t push to grow faster or yearn for more
The tree just follows the cycles of the seasons
And breathes out life into the world
Say yes
And then
Say yes again

Don’t worry if you are doing it right
Just follow the path of your life
Sense what Life is asking of you
And share your gifts
Say yes
And then
Say yes again

Listen, feel, learn
Love and then love some more
Be gentle in spirit and compassionate in heart
Serve something bigger than yourself
Say yes
And then
Say yes again
