It’s our Thanksgiving week here in the United States. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year because of its universal nature. While it began with the early Puritan settlers in the 1600s, it’s no longer associated with any one particular religion. It’s a holiday for everyone – a time for expressing gratitude for the blessings in our lives. Wherever you live in the world, I invite you to join us this week in the spirit of Thanksgiving.

I have many blessings for which I am grateful. I’m deeply grateful for my home and family, for health and well being, and for so many friends all over the world. I’m grateful for the many opportunities I continue to have to travel and learn about different cultures and worldviews. And I’m incredibly grateful for Transformational Presence and the extraordinary community and love that has gathered around this work.

Yet once again this year, I’m also grateful for situations, events, and people that I might not have expected to be. Awareness of that gratitude adds another dimension to my Thanksgiving and brings even greater richness to my life. It is this unexpected gratitude that touches me the most.

In the 8-minute video below, I speak a bit more about what Thanksgiving means to me, and the great gift of unexpected gratitude.

I wish you for you a week full of blessings and gratitude. Happy Thanksgiving!
